KNAX meets "Angry Birds 2" speakers

"Angry Birds 2 - The Film" will start in German cinemas on September 19, 2019.

This is the story: In the first film, the flightless birds and the insidious green pigs were still fighting with each other. But when a great threat emerges, the bird Red and his friends have to team up with the pigs. The unusual super team does everything to save their common home.

The KNAX reporters were able to ask three of the voice actors about their memories of KNAX and about their work on the film.
Be curious what they say!

Do you know KNAX from your childhood?
But yes. My dad was a customer of the Stadtsparkasse in Wuppertal throughout his life. He wouldn't have dared come home without the latest issue.

What else can you remember
Especially the dog Nero. I always wanted his hairstyle. Fortunately it didn't work; who knows what i would have looked like.

What did you spend your pocket money on as a child?
For matchbox cars, Asterix notebooks and sweets.

What do you especially like about the character you speak in the film?
This is the second time I can speak to the character named Red. He's now like an old friend: cheeky, cheeky, funny - you have to love him.

What was your dream career as a child?
First a priest, then a bus driver. Now I'm a little bit of both: I'm on the road a lot and I'm often in the spotlight.

Do you know KNAX from your childhood?
Yes, something rings: I am familiar with KNAX, but that was yaa years ago that I leafed through a booklet.

What did you spend your pocket money on as a child?
I preferred to spend my pocket money on ice cream and ice cream. Sometimes for ice cream too.

What do you especially like about the character you speak in the film?
In ANGRY BIRDS 2 I speak to the sweet little bird lady Silver. But be careful: small and cute does not automatically mean quiet and shy. Silver is a scientist, an inventor, a mastermind! What I like about her is that she does not show off her knowledge, but can share and help 1A. In ANGRY BIRDS 2 things really get down to business (the bird and pig islands are in danger!) And the fact that there will be a happy ending is at the end - TATATATAAAA !! - also thanks to Silver.

What was your dream career as a child?
Teacher!

Do you know KNAX from your childhood?
Naturally! I had my first savings account - very classic - at the Sparkasse. And if you had to wait there, I read KNAX. I found it great and of course I wanted to open more and more savings accounts just to be able to read. When I noticed that you can take the notebooks with you and read them at home, I just wanted to withdraw money.

If so, what else can you remember?
Of course I slipped into the roles. Most of the time I was Didi, but sometimes I was Pomm-Fritz or even Zipfel.

What did you spend your pocket money on as a child?
Slide fingers, twisters, shower bars and comics.

What do you especially like about the character you speak in the film?
I love talking to Leonard. Sometimes he's part of the team, sometimes he has his own plan. Then everything goes wrong for him because he's a fool. Wonderfully multi-layered in character, he can be pretty mean, but then suddenly be incredibly lovable again.
And at the bottom of his heart he's a good pig! And I think that everything is very close to ourselves, to us humans. Sometimes we act in an exemplary manner, sometimes impulsively, sometimes lovingly, sometimes selfishly. In addition, Leonard has to constantly chat out of embarrassing situations. Gorgeous!

What was your dream career as a child?
In fact, I've always wanted to be an actor and a comedian. Since kindergarten I have always been in a theater group or something similar. At school, I staged plays myself or performed Loriot's skits. And later this flowed smoothly into lay groups, training and work. I love what i do. There's nothing more beautiful!
