How do you align a text vertically?

Here's how to align my text in a table vertically in the middle in a note

You can't vertically center text in a table in OneNote

I had this problem too. Try like a force I couldn't find a way to do it. The only solution seems to be to use the "Insert Microsoft Excel Table" option. In Excel, you can format the table any way you want, hit the Save button and the changes will be replicated to the embedded table in OneNote.

Align the text in a table in different ways to make the table easier to read and understand. Typically, numbers are right aligned so that they are aligned with one another and easier to compare. Labels are usually centered or left aligned. OneNote provides alignment buttons on the Layout tab of the Table Tools for aligning text.

  1. Click anywhere in the table.
  2. Click the Layout tab.
  3. Select the rows, columns, or cells with the data that you want to realign. or select the entire table.
  4. Click an alignment button (Align Left, Center, or Align Right).

No way I am aware of VERTICAL aligning in OneNote or most other programs. Include an Excel spreadsheet where possible.

When I've only selected a few table cells, the text can be centered using the Align Paragraph button. However, when I select the entire table, OneNote centers the entire table on the page as well as the text in the cells. To just center the text I centered the top line and then the rest of the lines separately.

At the top, click the Toolbar Options arrow (it says 100% next to ZOOM).

Click the Add or Remove Buttons option and choose Formatting.

A list of options is displayed. Put a check mark / check mark next to the options that should appear above. In this case, choose Align Left, Center, or Align Right.

Hope that helps!
