Entry to Dubai with corona test: procedure and costs

Travel warning for Dubai (Corona risk area) and obligations when traveling (back) to Germany

The United Arab Emirates were added to the RKI list of corona risk areas on September 23, 2020. This list includes all countries and regions that report more than 50 newly infected people per 100,000 inhabitants within 7 days. The corona test should be checked by the airline before departure. In addition, the Federal Police can carry out a further check of the corona test after arrival in Germany.

Approved are according to RKIeither PCR, LAMP or TMA tests (at the time of entry into Germany max. 72 hours old) or antigen (rapid) tests (≥80% sensitivity and ≥97% specificity, max. 48 hours old at the time of entry into Germany). The Corona test result can be presented digitally (e.g. on the smartphone) or in paper form. The following languages ​​are permitted for the test evidence: German, English, Spanish, French and Italian.

Corona in Dubai - no more curfew
