About the noise goggles When working with the noise goggles, it is important to address many possibilities of impairment. Even with a very low alcohol concentration in the blood, there are often considerable restrictions on alertness and the ability to react. Prescribed drugs, along with small amounts of alcohol, can also cause intoxication. Young drivers are responsible for every third alcohol (drug) traffic accident A disproportionately high proportion of 18- to 24-year-olds is responsible for accidents that can be traced back to alcohol and other drug use. According to ADAC, every third car accident under the influence of alcohol is attributable to young drivers. With these glasses you can inform about these extreme dangers and try to prevent driving at night under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The Alcopop Nighttime noise glasses are particularly suitable for driving home after the party simulation thanks to their strong darkening. Alcopop-Nighttime-Rauschbrille / Summerjam 2006 In addition to the motor impairment, the numbing effect of alcohol leads to limited perception. This means that the consequences can no longer be perceived and assessed. (This experience is confirmed by anyone who has ever been able to make video recordings of their own intoxication. The effect can be seen very well in the reaction of the audience: They have the impression of actually seeing intoxicated or intoxicated people. That is of course often pretty Funny. With all the comedy, however, a few more words on the subject of safety are important: Some people react very sensitively to the intoxicating glasses, others feel much less. It is important that you pay attention to how the exerciser is doing and that you also ask if you want to If in doubt, it is always better to take off your glasses again and take a break, or stop completely (for more information on safety, see the instructions supplied).

The following overview shows the negative alcohol effects determined by medicine according to the respective blood alcohol concentration: Detrimental effects of alcohol 0B1B 0.2 Already 0.2 influence manual and cognitive performance, increase the willingness to take risks, and worsen perception. Above 0.5 Above 0.5 concentration and attention decrease, the reaction time is lengthened and the self-overestimation increases. From 1.0 From 1.0, performance is significantly impaired, if the field of vision is narrowed (tunnel vision), balance disorders occur. After Fuchs / Resch alcohol and occupational safety Many noise glasses testers are initially surprised. You will probably hear a lot: But I've never been so drunk ... hen, often doesn't remind you of the experiences you had while drinking alcohol. But you can counter this doubt with strong arguments: Of course you don't see things in the same way when you are drunk as you do with intoxicating glasses. but the effect on the body is comparable: I am no longer quite so sure of my feet, I notice that everything has slowed down. The big difference, however, is: here I notice that everything is not going as well. When I'm drunk, my body is always a little numb - that means, I perceive things very differently. The effect can be seen very well in the reaction of the audience: You have the impression that you are actually seeing intoxicated or intoxicated people. The different effects of being intoxicated are represented by 4 different types of glasses: 1. red low-level alcopop glasses simulate about 0.8 2. normal noise glasses simulate about 1.3 3. darkened twilight vision noise glasses simulate about 1, 3-1.5. and then there are 4. the alcopop nighttime noise glasses simulate about 0.8

The low-level alcopop noise goggles For outdoor use You will remember this trip Suggestions for actions with the noise goggles In the following you will find some suggestions on how you can use the noise goggles. Noise glasses affect in many ways. It is important that the participants in the actions feel the effects in different situations. It is therefore advisable to set up a small course and thereby enable everyone to do different exercises. More detailed information can be found in the instructions supplied (when purchasing). The instructions describe the exercises and which material you need Photo: The normal Drunkbuster Rauschbrille approx. 1.3 MUCH SUCCESS!

Here are some examples Exercise 1 Clinical Sobriety Test / Walking on the Line Here you have the classic sobriety test that you often see on TV. It is very impressive and at the same time very realistic. As (before) at a police station, have the person walk about 10 paces in a line, make a turn and run back. You can also have the steps counted out loud. The people should try to put their hands on the side of their body and hit the line exactly. Alternative: You let the person walk across the line without glasses and then with high glasses. Walk on the line. Material:> 1 roll of adhesive tape Impulse questions for the exercise: Were there situations in which you have ever felt this way? What was particularly difficult? How do the reactions differ with and without these glasses? Why is it important to know? What would you think if you saw someone on the street who acted like this? exercise 2

Pick up This exercise builds on exercise 1. They let those who walk across the line pick up an object that is lying next to the line (or, if necessary, is thrown next to the line by the accompanying person). A ball is a good idea, but a small keychain or two or three coins add to the difficulty. Material: object (e.g. balls or 20-cent piece) Exercise 3 The second sobriety test is standing on one leg. The other leg is stretched forward about 30 cm from the floor. Looking at the outstretched foot, the count is now: twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three ... until about 25 seconds have passed. A sober person should be able to handle this exercise without any problems. This exercise is also possible with both legs on a therapy top. Material: None (or a therapy top from a toy and sports retailer) Exercise 4

Catch the balls Have the participants catch one or more small balls opposite you with one hand without using other parts of the body. This exercise is also suitable for partner exercises in groups. The noise glasses can then be used alternately.

Exercise 5 Put in the box! Have the participants pick up various smaller objects from the floor. For this purpose, e.g. a square field was glued to the floor with tape and some (8-9) small things were placed in the field and spread out. The participant should now collect all parts in a curver box first without and then with the noise glasses. It is important that the small parts are collected individually and must not be pulled together. With glasses, the participants usually need two to three times as much time for the task. Here it becomes particularly clear how the movements are slowed down by the noise glasses. (Photos: Co / Jo.Schwarz.com) Material: Small parts such as paper clips, pens, toothpicks, keys, coins, etc. a plastic box to collect, stopwatch and adhesive tape. IMPULSE QUESTIONS> Was that difficult for you? > Would you have expected that it would take you so much longer with glasses? > Can you recall any similar situations when you were drunk?

Exercise 6 Driving exercises with a bobby car, Kettcar or hand truck (Photo: Regine Rust) A curvy slalom course is built with the help of traffic cones, tables, chairs and barrier tape. The course must now be completed as quickly as possible without bumping into something or moving parts. The hand truck is driven by the participants with glasses. Material:> Hand truck> Cone or similar (e.g. plastic water bottle) IMPULSE QUESTIONS> How often have you bumped into something? > At which points on the course was it particularly difficult for you? > How did you manage to do it? > Do you think that it is safe to drive a vehicle if you are drunk? Other ideas

There are many ideas and possibilities for always new exercises. We believe it is important to relate to everyday life and to compare performance with and without glasses. Tried and tested exercises are: look up numbers in the phone book, unlock a padlock or a locker, operate light switches and simple machines or see pictures of traffic signs from different distances.
